Lin Wu Delivers Keynote, Zhou Naixiang Presides, Ge Huijun Attends, and An Lijia Addresses

On the morning of October 30, the 4th Conference of Great Business Partners (CGBP) opened at the Shandong Conference Hall. Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, delivered the keynote speech and officially declared the conference open. Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Governor of Shandong, presided over the conference. Ge Huijun, Chairwoman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and Yang Dongqi, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, were in attendance. An Lijia, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, delivered a speech.

Lin Wu highlighted that Shandong is a major province in terms of population, cultural heritage, and economic strength. He added that in recent years, the government has remained true to its mission, moved forward with gratitude, maintained its focus on being at the forefront and taking the lead, and carried out its work steadily and earnestly. As a result, Shandong's economy has shown robust growth with ongoing improvements in quality. Major economic indicators have outpaced the national average, marking substantial progress towards building a modern and prosperous province. Today, Shandong stands out with a more prominent strategic position, a stronger industrial base, greater innovative momentum, a more dynamic openness, and an improved business environment. All these factors have built up powerful potential to drive high-quality development. Currently, people from all walks of life in Shandong are thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the key messages from General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his visit to Shandong. We are taking a coordinated approach to ensure steady growth, enhance quality and efficiency, advance reforms, guard against risks, and improve people's well-being, striving to write a new chapter in Shandong's journey toward Chinese modernization. The CGBP is a vital platform for entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and collaborate, as well as an important bridge for domestic and international businesses to contribute to their hometown. In his remarks, An Lijia spoke highly of the important role of the CGBP, and called on business leaders to strengthen their confidence in growth, foster innovation, and embrace social responsibility. Liu Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, delivered his address.
Leading entrepreneurs and experts from home and abroad, including Yu Xubo, Zhang Tao, Xue Qikun, Yu Yingtao, Yin Daoxuan, Huang Xiangmo, Pan Yongchang, and Jia Shaoqian, gave keynote speeches.
At the opening ceremony, Shandong Province unveiled its iconic industrial chain investment map and logo, hosted a "Dialogue Across Time and Space" event, and witnessed the signing of several collaborative projects. During the conference, 11 "Investment and Talent Attraction" events were also held.
Provincial leaders, senior officials from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Commerce, ambassadors and representatives from international organizations, executives from centrally administered State-owned enterprises, multinational corporations, prominent private companies, provincial enterprises, and business associations, as well as academicians, experts, and representatives from various associations and overseas Chinese communities, all attended the event.
