　　Great business principles unite the world with integrity and sincerity. On the morning of October 16, the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government held a press conference, inviting key officials from the province's Department of Commerce to brief attendees on the 4th Conference of Great Business Partners (CGBP). The Haibao News reporter learned from the press conference that the 4th CGBP, hosted by the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Shandong Provincial People's Government and organized by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and Jinan Municipal People's Government, will be held in Jinan from October 29-31, 2025.

　　Themed "Integrity in Action: Driving Development with Innovation," the 4th CGBP will feature four major categories of activities: Opening Ceremony, collective meetings by the provincial leaders, "Shandong Night" Exchange Evening for Friendship, and 11 investment and talent attraction activities, showcasing Shandong's Confucian culture and distinctive character while promoting cooperation and development. This year's CGBP will host approximately 600 official delegates, primarily including representatives from central state-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private companies; representatives from prominent businesses from Japan, South Korea, ASEAN countries and regions; experts and scholars; heads of business associations; and representatives from overseas associations and Chinese communities. Currently, all preparatory work for the event is essentially complete.

　　The Opening Ceremony will be held at the Shandong Hotel on October 30. Leaders of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Shandong Provincial People's Government will attend it. A group of globally influential entrepreneurs, business association representatives, experts, and scholars will deliver speeches, discussing Confucian entrepreneurship, industry development trends, and new opportunities for deepening cooperation with Shandong.

　　Wang Lei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, stated at the press conference that the 11 talent and investment attraction activities boast distinctive characteristics and will be organized into three segments. Specifically, the "Confucianism as the Foundation: Discussing Confucian Entrepreneurship" segment will host two activities: Seminar on Inheriting Confucian Business Culture and Carrying Forward the Spirit of Confucian Entrepreneurs, and Seminar on the Spirit of Confucian Entrepreneurs and Its Role in Building a Unified National Market; the "Commerce as the Bridge: Collaborating for Development" segment will feature five activities: China-Singapore Sustainable Development Cooperation Conference & Jinan Promotion Event, The 2025 Business Matchmaking Conference for Shandong-Japan Industrial Innovation and Development, Investment Promotion Event for Projects under New Business Formats, Models and Scenarios in Shandong's Consumer Sector, Business Matchmaking Conference on Disruptive Technological Achievements Promotion and Industrial Integration, and Matchmaking Conference on Financial Innovation Supporting Shandong's High-Standard Opening-up; the "Homeland as the Root: Contributing to One's Hometown" segment will include four events: Forum of Presidents from Shandong Business Associations at Home and Abroad, Business Matching Conference on Overseas Chinese Facilitating Global Access for Thousands of Shandong Enterprises and Products, New Quality Productive Forces Driving High-Quality Development of Shandong, and "Mountains Embrace the Sea, Qilu Provides Financial Support for Yimeng"—Exchange Meeting for Confucian Entrepreneurs in a New Era.

　　Notably, during this year's event, organizers will also arrange the Targeted Investment Symposium, invite provincial leaders and key guests for one-on-one communication and exchanges, and advance key project cooperation; host "Hometown Ties, Shared Future" Confucian business networking activities; and have all 16 cities conduct city promotion activities and Confucian Entrepreneurs' Visits to Shandong: Returnee Tours.
